A life in health care

Though I opened my first holistic health practice in 1978, I've never stopped expanding my knowledge and the range of therapies I offer patients.
My training began with a BA in psychology and anthropology from Rutgers University. In 1977, I received a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the New York Chiropractic College at the State University of New York. I later trained at the Upledger Institute for Craniosacral Therapy, and I now hold an advanced proficiency rating from Activator Methods Chiropractic.
Though chiropractic has long allowed me to offer my patients a lot, I wanted to offer more. So in 1997, I completed certification as a Master Homeopathic Clinician, and then obtained board certification in Clinical Nutrition in 2010.
I now serve on the Editorial Board of the Natural Standard Research Collaboration, an evidence-based information database on alternative and complementary therapies.
