Tests for Better Health

"I first came to see you after being hospitalized with a possible multiple sclerosis diagnosis. The medical doctors were completely stumped as to my condition. Dr. Ostroff really listened to what I had to say and probed for any causes of the problem. She recommended and I have followed a high quality vitamin and mineral regimen to restore my core health. [And have avoided the foods that were tested positive for immune sensitivity in the blood testing she advised]

She has been a true source of wisdom and alternative resources as I have traveled my journey back to health. She has helped me understand the critical role that food, vitamins and minerals play in my health.

With her support, guidance and encouragement, I have been able to feel like there is a lot that I can do to impact and restore my health. I do not have to be a helpless victim, waiting for the medical doctors to solve my problems. I am my own best healer and Dr. Ostroff has helped me to realize that.

I have made a full and complete return to health since I came in for my first visit 7 months ago. Thank you Dr. Ostroff!"

Tests for Better Health

Much of my diagnostic work relies on data from specialized tests. Some are the same tests your primary doctor might order, for standard blood chemistry and cell counts. In fact, if you have recently had these tests performed, I can simply review the results without ordering new ones. If new blood tests are required, I’ll write a prescription and the testing is carried out by Lab Corps or Quest Diagnostics. I can also order a variety of more specialized tests depending on your needs.

Test Pricing and Insurance

I provide patient kits for all the more specialized tests. Each kit includes clear, specific instructions on all aspects of the procedure. Each patient pays the lab directly, and the lab either provides a receipt for insurance purposes or files the insurance claim itself; this will vary depending on the lab and your specific insurance coverage. Many patients receive reimbursement. My office does not receive any payment for the lab testing.
